Sterilising Wrap UPDATE

There is still a national shortfall in sterilizing wrap from most of the approved companies. The base product for wrap appears to being diverted for mask and gown manufacture in China and what is coming NZ's way is delayed on ships. I have written to the group representing loan companies asking them to consider using reusable instrument crates for their loan sets rather than us all having to use wrap for loan sets. Unfortunately they appear to be ignoring this request as they have not responded. I am now individually contacting reps and asking them to take this issue to their managers. Please let me know if your department is having issues with wrap supply. I need to get a national picture of what is happening and any ongoing wrap issues.
